Woke up in the morning
had me my cigarette
had some eggs frying in the pan
put some boots on to walk all around this land
gonna listen to my headphones
walk all around the day
smirk and laugh and the funny things people say
hang out in parking lots
drink a couple of shots
and I'm on my way
I'm not worried about the day
I'm just worried about my aching pay
and I might play a little guitar
and see if I can go as far as my feet have gone in the lonesome life
and throw a little disregard in there
as I'm walking through the smoggy air
running my fingers through my greasy hair
don't shoot the breeeze
because the breeze will shoot you definitely
